Stamping on Soap

Stamping on Soap is simple!  There a zillions of recipes online. The combinations and scents are endless.  We simply used basic melt and pour soap just to show the stamping part.

This craft uses the CLING MOUNTED stamps.

Step 1-  Put the melt and pour soap into a microwave safe dish and microwave according to package directions.  We added bubblegum scent and red coloring.

Step 2- While your soap is melting, use a temporary adhesive to glue your Cling mounted stamp into the bottom of your mold.  We used Tombo MonoAdhesiveTemporary.  You could also just simply use a school glue stick.  If you use temporary adhesive it will not ruin your cling mount.  Just wash it off afterwards.

Step 3- Pour in the melted mixture ontop of the stamp.

Step 4- Let dry according to package directions.  We waited a few hours for ours to just pop out of the mold.

Step 5- After taking your soap out of the mold you may need to use a butter knife to pry off the stamp.  We've had some that just came off automatically and some that needed a little help.

Step 6- Trim off excess with a butter knife of cookie cutter.  Wrap up and give away.
